We want you to feel confident and empowered to educate your children about all things bodies, consent, sex, mental health and more.

Prep From The Start

For parents and caregivers of
children ages 1 to 8 years old

Prep From The Start is a comprehensive course that provides you with the knowledge and skills you need to proactively educate your children about anatomy, consent, body safety, sex, mental health and more.

Having these conversations early and often allows you to:

  • Control the narrative your children hear about these topics, by being the first to introduce them;

  • Share your family values throughout these conversations; and

  • Avoid the singular, dreaded, awkward, and ineffective "talk" when they are teenagers

This course will provide you with:

  • Strategies to navigate conversations about anatomy, consent, body safety, safe adults and strange behaviors, hygiene, babies, sex, pornography, and more;

  • A timeline for when to start each conversation;

  • Skills and scripts to help you comfortably and confidently provide your child with this knowledge in natural, everyday situations;

  • Tools to help build emotional awareness and coping for all family members; and

  • A course companion to ensure alignment in messaging amongst key caregivers

We are Kathleen and Lindsey - two working moms on a mission to educate and empower parents/caregivers. Kathleen is a Nurse Practitioner and Lindsey is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist. Parenting is our favorite and hardest job. We want to ensure all kids have the education they need to be safe and caring children, teens, and adults. There is no roadmap for this, so we created one. We’ve pulled our medical and clinical expertise to educate you, so that you can be the expert in their life! Thank you for letting us be part of your journey.

If we don’t intentionally educate and model how to navigate the topics for our kids, we are in effect asking them to navigate it on their own.
